Although hot tubs have internal lights to illuminate the water, tiki torches or rope lighting can be used to accentuate other areas of your spa installation.
Rope lighting is a great choice for lining the base of your hot tub or the garden next to it. If your spa sits on a deck or has a walkway leading to it, rope lighting can be used to line these as well. That’s not to say you should line everything with lights, however.
Pick one element that you want to highlight so it’s not overpowering. White LED rope lighting is the most popular choice with homeowners because it blends naturally with its surroundings when not in use.
Tiki torches are another great way to add more illumination. Rather than using the cheap varieties available, we recommend upgrading to a higher quality version made of copper or brass.

Even if you don’t have the budget to buy a ready-made one, you can make your own for less than half of the price of a professional build. If you have some large, old frosted window panes kicking around, you’re off to a good start.

To balance out that great water feature, why not add a fire pit? A fire pit can add another focal point to your yard as well as give you and your family another area to kick back and relax. If you’re handy, you can build your own, but it’s a labor-intensive project.
If you’d rather just head to the store, there are many reasonably-priced portable fire pits to pick from. When choosing a design, try to tie it in with the overall style of your outdoor living space for a consistent look. Once your fire pit is in place, arrange seating around it for comfortable evening campfires with your family.
Be sure to choose a safe place for your fire pit, keeping it away from wooden structures.
4. Hanging Plants
